Emily Foster, MA, NCC, LAC
Hi there! My name is Emily Foster, and I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters degree. I attended Arizona State University where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
My therapeutic approach is both flexible and tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. My experience includes a wide ranges of individuals dealing with depression, anxiety and stress, family issues, grief and loss, trauma, and transitional/phase of life challenges.
I take a strengths-based approach that is predominantly rooted in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. My belief is that the client is the expert of their own lives, with my job being to provide empathetic understanding, support, validation, and clarity during the more challenging times life throws our way. I aim to make each client feel heard and understood while offering a safe space to explore newfound insights and alternative perspectives, increasing your ability to make the changes you desire in life. I truly enjoy helping and empowering individuals become the person they aspire to be.
I would love the opportunity to share in your journey with you.
