Kim Watkins, LPC
Therapist
Hi, my name is Kim Watkins and I hold a Specialist in Education degree in Community Counseling. I began counseling in 2009 and have enjoyed helping people through a variety of difficult situations. Through my experience in community mental health, substance abuse, and private practice settings, I have come to believe that we all do the best we can with the knowledge and skills that we have. When navigating life’s challenges becomes difficult, counseling can help. I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapies to assist clients in developing skills they need to be successful in managing depression, anxiety, and trauma-related and an array of other mental health concerns, while improving problem solving and communication skills. Each person and situation are unique and so is the approach I use with each client.
I believe you are capable of making the changes in your life that you choose to make. Consider allowing me to collaborate with you to achieve your goals.
