Paula Winsor, PMHNP-BC
Paulette Winsor, PMHNP-BC is a caring, board – certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in treating children and adults with mental health disorders as well as addiction medicine. With over 30 years of experience in treating adults with mental health disorders and 12 plus years treating children and adolescents.
Paulette is passionate about helping people that struggle with mental health disorders, helping them find hope, recovery, and self – empowerment. Paulette graduated from Walden University with her Masters in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health. She received her BSN from Grand Canyon University.
For many years, Paulette worked as the Director of Nursing in behavioral health facilities. She uses empathy and understanding to help people begin their journey into healing and recovery from a variety of mental health disorders. She is experienced in treating children ages 10 and up in both mental health and addiction.
Paulette was born and raised in Missouri. She moved to Arizona to start a family, she has two adult children and a goldendoodle named Luke. She believes in taking personal accountability to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with each person. She aspires to help improve the mental health of each patient by promoting healthy lifestyle choices which positively improve a person’s overall health outcomes.
When not in the office, Paulette spends her time with her family and friends. She enjoys being active, including traveling, paddle boarding, working out and hiking.
